The holy Relic of St. Thomas will be exposed daily from 8 am to 6 pm for the veneration of the faithful with a short prayer service.

Special Mediatory Prayer service for a particular intention will be conducted at request on every Sunday at Mar Thoma Sannidhi. (Rs. 50/-)

In the Annual Novena Prayer Scheme (Rs. 2500/-) your intensions are specially offered in 60 Sunday masses of the year.

A week-long celebration under the title Mar Thoma’s Entrance to Bharata will be held every
year culminating on Nov. 21, or the Sunday after, at the Marthoma Nagar with programmes like
Bharatha Pravesana Jalaghoshayathra, Harmony Festival, Nercha Sadhya etc.

Marthoma Smrithi Tharamgam, a light and sound show (40 mts.) at the shrine, beautifully depicts the life and message of St. Thomas (Rs. 900/-per show)

Boating facilities are available at the Marthoma Gate on river Periyar for the pilgrims on a moderate rate.

A dining hall/mini auditorium is made available for the pilgrims.

A moderately furnished Canteen and sufficiently equipped Cool bar are always at the disposal of the pilgrims.

Marthoma Stall is at the service of the pilgrims daily from 8 am to 6 pm to meet the needs of

Marthoma Pilgrim Centre offers accommodation for the pilgrims on a reasonable cost.

Facilities are available at the Shrine for the blessing of fishing boats on all days.

Marthoma Research Academy (MRA) is established in the Shrine to study the history, traditions
and the spirituality of St. Thomas Christians and to organize seminars and programs promoting
religious harmony, ecumenical spirit, cultural unity and socio-economical progress of the people.

The shrine runs a hospital which has become a specialized medical centre for mental patients.
